A childrens garden!

I was on holiday last week. Took Stephen down to the new forest. Just him and me, which was great to be able to give him all my attention. He repayed me by a change of attitude. Was chatty and relaxed, even if he only allowed me one garden visit during the week…………..
Got him back by making him come to the top of the spindle tower in portsmouth, he said he didnt like heights, but was ok when I pointed out the American Aircraft Carrier ankered just off the coast!
My one garden visit was to Stanton Garden Farm. Used one of the 2 for 1 tickets in the gardeners world mag.
Wanted to get some ideas for a children’s garden for work. Tony the G.M. isnt interested in any swings, slides etc, afraid of being sued after any acidents! Thinking of doing a design including a maze, a dry stone river walk and outdoor chess set. And if I can get away with the back entrance being through a tunnel I will! Just need to resite the compost bins first, but I cant decide where.

Back at work finished the staff area today. My epic shingle shift. Not quite as I wanted it, the lower part should have been pea shingle but it ended up the same size as the top. Cant say it realy matters.
