lol thats great heron, my son joe looked after a neighbours hens while away and brought me fresh eggs home, so tasty, much nicer than from supermarkets ;o))

yes they are steve and sorry but this is a peacock, red admiral is darker and has orange and white markings, no eyes on wings, sorry Gina, look red admiral up steve you will see the difference ,http://www.dgsgardening.btinternet.co.uk/butterflyredadmiral.htm

yes i do amy, sometimes have to keep clicking till i get it right, sometimes it doesnt work, better when sun is going, it helps with the glare

it looks like bloodleaf to me scotsgran,

 

i dont use anything, not had a problem , think even before i had my pond i had frogs and toads, also hedgehogs so they all eat the slugs and snails,
a few member use copper tape round pots which i hear actually works
