thanx sea, im taking notes, and i have been clearing leaves as i see them, mine not to deep so may turn pump off incase it freezes, see how the weather holds,

 

thanx val, mine took about 3 weeks to get good roots, has to be quite a soft cutting rather than older stem from what i can see, sorry yours didnt take val ;o(

caught up with your flowers and you have had some stunners this year Alex,, so pretty, i have bottle brush but no flowers yet, its only its second year and still young but lots of new growth, so going to protect it through winter and hope for the best ;o))

lol Alex,,, thats ok i do it to lol, i did them later last year and couldnt keep them alive through winter with no greenhouse thats why i tried earlier this year in hope they would do better in the house, will see,,, fingers crossed

really enjoyed your blog barbara and your garden still looks so summery, cant believe your well ahead of me with the bulb planting, well done, great pictures to ;o))

 

barbara great pics of the family and karen,, who hasnt changed much at all, happy looking family, we want more hahaha

 

how sad about the trees pauline, i hated it when mine came down but they were very old and a real mess so no choice, but i have planted a rowan tree so birds will love that when it grows a wee bit more, look forward to pics ;o))
