barbara so enjoyed your trip with louise, i loved it to, beautifull gardens and house, the meadow was stunning and so liked the pond and gravel area,,, perfect , wish we had such places here ;o))

oh pip how sad, poor possum, such cute creatures to, must have been hit by a car maybe, could they not do anything more,,, you did your best anyway pip, well done x

 

louise are you sure its a greenfinch cause goldfinch young are more grey and yellow strip in tail, greenfinch is pale green with yellow strip in wing and tail, lucky you having them in your garden though

 

i got it as a plant from garden centre, came across it by chance and couldnt resist it lol,im going to move it when it comes up next year more to the front where i can see it better ;o)

 

great getting the rockery stones Wlass, im sure you can get the council to dispose of asbestos panels or if they are on his land then you can report to health and safety, worth looking into ;o)
