Thanks San , we are having a sort out today changing plants about from one pot to another ... x

Let's hope we get some sunshine and good summer weather this year Sandra. Glad to hear that your health has improved. Hope you have a super time in Spain. Your garden has sprung into life and colour and hope the new fish settle in well too. We've lost lavenders and other plants so have been looking for replacements.

All looking good San, glad you are feeling better last year was no fun, Enjoy your Holiday in the sunshine :o)

Hi San its good to see a blog from you, pleased to hear you are better now and hope it stays that way, you'll soon get back into the garden now your health has improved and lets face it the hard work has already been done, its never a case of finishing as we are always finding new plants and shrubs that we like and that often calls for change but thats the good bit, after last years debacle I wasn't going to bother with so many either but it isn't working that way as I once again have trays full of seedlings of bedding for this year, I'll never hang myself and thats a fact!!!!!

Hi San good to see you again, hope after your trip to Spain you will be up and raring to go, amazing what a little break can do......
Love that Brunnera, ours still tiny, but one of my favourites, pleased your pond is doing well and you have some new inmates, take care...xx

Gorgeous plants San......So glad you are feeling better....xx

Hi Sandra good to see you around, hope your health continues to improve and you enjoy your holiday, your gardens looking grat, I do you love the Wind Flowers;0)

I agree with you Shirley, but I lost a few variegated shrubs this winter...I don't think they are as tough as normal green vars.

I've been back today San they had some more on the shelf , we had some broken pots last night in the gales ,I'm upset about that ! we had to plant some plants in the ground for the time being , so I won't be potting these up for a while until we are sorted :o(

San, I'm very envious of your Pulsatilla in photo 2, everyone but me seem to have theirs in bloom! Will you go for variegated shrubs to brighten up the garden? I think they look especially good in the Autumn and Winter when the flowers are coming to an end. Your new fish sound very exotic! Keep smiling ... :o)

Lovely blog San. I see your Spiraea is doing wonderfully! Great to hear about the fish you inherited. Hope your health will be tip-top from now on. :)

Lovely photos Sandra, here's hoping for a happy and healthy year for you. Enjoy your trip :)

lovely Sandra - what nice flowers and hoping for a great year for you - been nice having you as a friend :-)))

Looking good hope you have a better year

All looking lovely San!

Have a lovely time Sandra
You deserve it, and a happy healthy summer x

I agree with you really, after the awful growing seasons
I,m going for more perennials...and I,ve planted some hardy annuals in some pots, see what happens!

Hi Sandra love the spirea it's the gold flame isn't it? Sounds like a nice trip your going on, hope its nice and hot over there and a nice rest from our weather :-)

Hope you have much better health this year, lovely photos, I really like that daffodil, such a pretty colour combination.

Spirea is gorge!
Am wondering what is still actually in my garden and what will flower this year!
No goldfish....only 3 minnows and lots of toad eggs. I miss my fish. Am re thinking the pond. I was going to lift it, level it on the ground and put turf dug up from my shrubs around it, like a small hill. Then I see newts laying eggs and all sorts going on and now not sure if I can move it without disturbing the wildlife!

Merry Christmas again Sandra ;o) x
