Hi everyone, for the second part of our holiday blog im going to show you the beaches and scenes of cornwall which we enjoyed.
I have to say they have some of the prettiest coves and small beaches in england i think where you can stroll and take in all the beauty we take so much for granted, As i walked and felt the sun and the breeze and breathed in the fresh air i reflected on my life and some things i am not to happy with, things that make me feel stressed and unhappy, but really even though we think we cant cope at times, we must be gratefull for our health and remember some are alot worse of in other ways.
But im sure like most of us i will still stress out and feel like i have all the problems but im glad im here and i can escape from time to time and enjoy our lovely country.
HAHAH i better stop before you all either cry or fall asleep lol.
Anyway here are some sea and scenery pics, so chill and enjoy

Also i hope to use some of my photos to help me with my art, so plenty to keep me going in the winter months.
We have done plenty of gardening and jobs since we came back but when the sun shines i so enjoy being outside dont you :o))

Love your pics, San, especially pic 6 ... were you near to Truro or Falmouth at all? ... Michael's sister used to live in a pretty village near Truro ... he would move to that area tomorrow given half a chance! ... How did Baz like driving along the narrow country lanes? ... :o)))

1 Oct, 2011

shirley we went to truro and all over, lots of little villages and coves, i loved it, we got stuck in one place, before i could warn baz of the access only sign he had already turned down into the road only to be face to face with another car, think a local who waved us back angrilly lol, was a nightmare i tell you hahha, not enough room for one car never mind two.

Oh yes, San, I do enjoy being outdoors! Been inside all day today (rained all day long) doing seaglass mosaic. Nearly finished now...a bit 'quirky' but we'll see. I quite like it.

Anyway, I was going to say...we all have things in our lives we regret or things that didn't turn out the way we hoped don't we. My life is absolutely nothing like I planned it to be when I was 20! Almost the opposite of all my plans! As you say though... good health is very precious, and I have lost several friends young to Cancer so I try to keep things in perspective when I am feeling old and a bit low.

The sunshine and warmth on our skin makes a huge difference to our wellbeing doesn't it...both physical and spiritual. Thank goodness you had some nice weather in Cornwall...it rained when we went...but that's just the story of my life at the moment! lol

Your photos are amazing...love the one of the boats, and the one of the beach from the cave and the one of the rock-pools....very beautifully composed if I may say so! :))

Cornwall is a beautiful part of the world and to go out of season is the best time to see it, you have taken some beautiful pics, capturing the real feel and beauty of the place.

rick Stein owns a lot of property there,San..but he does a lot for the community,I believe..we didn't eat from there either..but I bought one of his foldaway shopping bags ,which has been well worth the £5 I paid for it..it goes everywhere with me..just in case I see a bargain!:o))

Beautiful San. I loved the rock pools best, but great collection. Inspiring to me. :-) There is a real essence to the sequence, cool mist and salty peat. What a great get away.

hi GT and thanx for stopping by and taking a look,

4 Oct, 2011

I hope you had your windows and that they are satisfactory.
When I lived in the old cottage we had new windows, and it was June. But it was blowing a gale and lashing rain lol . They didn't do one at a time, but they took them all out and then fitted the new ones - daft in that weather lol I froze :D

5 Oct, 2011

Lovely photo`s San, I always liked exploring in the caves and spent ages checking out the rockpools, I can remember the narrow roads and keeping my fingers x that nothing was coming the other way, lol..
Our heatwave has disappeared now, its blowing a gale again but still no rain here, I`m even considering getting the hosepipe out, daft for October, cannot remember having a brown lawn at this time of year before, or toms still growing in my greenhouse,lol...

5 Oct, 2011

hywel windows great, one prob which will be fixed tomoz, we have had a long window made into a normal size with a panel from half way on the outside if you understand, but wrong panel so bringing that when made, other than that all great, baz will then build a false wall inside with a window ledge, so will be warmer in winter that way, cant believe they took all your windows out, brrrrr , i was cold one at a time, poor you. x
sue cant believe you havent had rain, we have had lots this summer and today wind, gales and heavt bursts of hale stone, awfull, hope you get rain soon ;o)
