A lesson learnt!

I am hoping that none of you would be as silly as me!
I was really getting into my gardening with it being a sunny day that I rushed out to pop into town for something that I needed to get and couldn’t wait to get back to carry on.
It was a warm day, so put a light coat on and put my card wallet in my pocket keeping hold of it all the time.
It wasn’t until the next day when I was going out with my friend that I realised I hadn’t got it.
As you can imagine, I searched the whole house getting angry at myself and then of course the tears came!
It must have dropped out my pocket when I got into my car.
Rick would have really chafed at me saying I was trying to do too many jobs at once!
So, an expensive mistake as I had to pay to renew my driving licence, pay to renew my bus pass and pay to renew my rail card which I use quite often when I visit my son.
At least noone had taken any money out of my account and now have to wait 5 days for a new one.
I will definitely have to slow down now!
Like me, all of you will be enjoying the sunshine and getting out in the garden and hope none of you will be as silly as me!

Oh blimey, what a lot of stress and hassle. It’s easily done. You’ll probably have them returned to you in the end.

Oh no what a shame.
Have you checked down the side of the car seat? I have 'lost' a wallet down the bit when the seat belt anchor clip is. Slid down then on the floor under my seat.
I hope the wallet gets handed in to the local bank.

We all make these silly mistakes when we rush so don’t be too hard on yourself. I thought you were going to say that you had forgotten that you’d worn a different coat & had been looking in the pockets of your usual coat. That’s the sort of thing I do, get mixed up with different coats or bags!

Rose, is there a local/village Facebook page for your area? I only ask as our local ones are forever saying debit/credit cards have been found and then DM the person for recovery of it.

As everyone says Rose, it's so easily done! I'm sure it'll happen to me one of these days as well! I just hope you will get your cards back even if you have had to cancel them.

Aw Rose, I'm sorry to hear this. You must have felt so stressed, understandably. It's easy done and we've all done similar things. I'm just sorry you have had to go through the worry and anxiety. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that a good samaritan hands them in.

I am not sure about the face book page Shirley, but there is a "next door" app which covers all the areas around me and have put it on there, but it has not been found.

Thankfully no money was taken out...but what a shock for you Rose and then having to renew all the other items.Easily done,I'm sure some of us have done the same.
