A Cautionary Tale or A bit of a giggle....

Just wanted to tell you about what happened when hubby decided to vacuum up the leaves last autumn.

Picture the scene – he is walking carefully along the garden, sucking up all the beech leaves, etc.into his vacuum bag.

However, on looking back, he sees a little trail of shredded leaves behind him!
Yes, youve guessed, a little mouse has bitten a hole in his bag.
He will be more careful as to where he keeps it in his workshop from now on.

Happy days………………

(not sure if this should be in the section about “gardening/horticulture” or “pests!”

lmao typical of men not checking how such a small thing can fool such humans, bit like other things they don't check.!!!! Mice can be quite distructive, I am surprised he did nt find a nest in it.

Hywel you can take the bag off and empty it through the hole that connects to the bag.
Have to confess while I was in the garage hanging mine up I found 3 of 4 fold away padded garden chairs had been eaten through the arms the cat is in there now!
