More Flowers On Sunflowers??

Im growing the Giant Sunflowers this Year & their already 8inchs High ! Id was wondering if i Nip out the Growing Tip will they get More Flowers instead of just the 1 Large 1 as Norm? Many Thanx Jacx

Think il let them grow @ Different Hights MM if i dont get an answer 2 see which 1 Looks/Does best :) An Experiment u could say ;)
