I am presuming that they have been affected by the frosts we had before the glorious weather we have now, if that is the case it's a matter of determining where the new growth will reappear below the damaged areas you can then cut back

I don't think there is frost damage.There is quite a lot of new growth.I just want to look a bit more attractive.

Eucalyptus trees are beautiful, but they really want to be very tall! I think all you can do is keep pruning and shaping them - new growth will produce the typical "silver dollar" round leaves, but once they mature, the leaves become long and pointed.

They look better as 'lollipop' trees when kept small, but if yours haven't got a main stem, but have lots of stems coming up from the ground, that's difficult to do. If they have got a mainstem, remove all growth from it leaving a couple of feet at the top. Keep the top clipped back at a height you can manage, and relentlessly remove all and any other shoots which try to grow lower down.
Alternatively, they can be cut to the ground (6 inches) in late March, when they will put on about 6 feet of growth as 'shrubs'.
