I have started a compost bin. Is it correct for their to be lots of worms in by bin? It seems to be rotting down ok but every time I look their is more and more of these little worms.

Give thanks those wee worms are turning your garden waste into compost! Be glad to see them...

That's good - the more the better.

The best worms are fairly small with pink & red bands on. They're called brandling worms - someone described them to me as "the Ferraris of the worm world". They help your plant waste turn into compost in double-quick time. Your composter is working just as it ought to. :-)
