Is it safe to gow Veg in an area that was treated with Path Clear?

I treated an area with Path Clear (a three month weed clearing treatment) last Autumn, and have now decided that I want this area to be used as my Veg plot. Two questions: (1). Will it be safe to grow veg after reating the area?; (2) will they actually grow following the treatment?

you could make raised beds with weed control matting underneath , then you would be sure of no contamination................steve
