I have an Hibiscus which has outgrown its position, I want to move it but am sureif there is a special time to do this.
I don't know this Hibiscus is called I bought it from a carboot, it has beautifull blue flowers though.

Sounds like Hibiscus syriacus Blue Bird. You can move it any time during the dormant season when the ground is not frozen. Keep the rootball as big as you can. Current advice is to not prune the shrub but to let the plant restore the balance between roots and branches itself.
