Adiantum Fragrans

I have one on my desk at work and I loved it but recently it has just shrivelled up and turned brown bar in two or three green stems. Dont know why and dont know if it can be saved any thoughts?

Can't be sure from your description Woodpecker but 2 questions always spring to mind, assuming you are watering it correctly. First, are you feeding it, especially through summer? And second, has it got enough light now the days are getting shorter and darker?
