Also give consideration to Oregon Thornless. Good fruit flavour and as it says on the tin, no thorns!

We grow Black Butte, was laden this year big berries and good taste, it is an early fruiter.

Try Himalayan Giant I used to grow it but the hedge it was on is now a fence between me and new houses. It is indeed a Giant in growth as well as berries
