I have very wet soil in 1 area of my garden what perannual plants (except ferns, grasses)grow well in this environment

....Loosestrife, Primula denticulata and Candelebra Primulas, Zantedeschia aethiopica, Astilbe, Aruncus, Actaea, Filipendula rubra, Lobelia cardinalis. I hope with the two lists you can find something that you will enjoy in your garden!

Is there an underlying problem like bad drainage, compacted soil or is it a naturally damp area? If you can't sort out the problem then don't fight it and plant up as a bog garden.
