I have always taken the lower leaves under each truss as they become ripe which would leave about three leaves below the place where I have stopped the plants. One of my best crops was with ring culture. I grew the plants to 12 trusses, fruit from June to October in the heated greenhouse. Hope you can understand all that. Thank you for your kind words.
