If this Iris came from me it would be a variety cross, possibly Immortality x Iron Eagle(that has space age blue beard but not transmitted to offspring.
The falls do look rather transparent as if they have been rained upon. I have similar on the allotment with varying degrees of glacial blue buds with/without light yellow haft markings.

That is great thanks Sue. The falls were almost tissue paper like and yes translucent really.

I am hoping to use the image in a talk I am giving next week to our HPS group.

Space Age is considered a poor feature, not stable feature, but depending on the beard shape I find quite quirky!
