Training Blackberry cane

We intend planting a blackberry cane in a plot 6 feet by 2 feet alongside the house. The short sides of the plot are at the north and south so the intention is to plant at the north as the cane will obviously grow south towards the south. The house wall is on the west side so shades the plot from early afternoon. How should we train and support the cane please?

easiest way is eye bolts in the wall at either end and wire stretched between them. the blackberry will grow along and there is nothing to rot/ paint.you will probably need 3 or 4 rows, maybe 18,inches apart
