Normally more green in colour. Ribes odoratum has bright yellow flowers though.

The pictures that I have seen show them varing between white and yellow.

Your Gooseberries must have brighter coloured flowers than ours down here then Mr B.

I wouldn't say that they were bright at all, Fractal, they are very understaed. I am not sure why the guest is asking about the flowers in the first place.
