tar from my garage roof going into my water butt can I use this water in my garden for watering flowers and vegtables

is the tar [bitumen] hard lumps if it is it probably wont have had any significant effect on the water. no more than the rain that runs off the roof into the ground. and that doesn't deter allotment holders.
After all tar doesn't doesn't dissolve in water as it is oil based.

I certainly wouldn't use it on anything I was going to eat as tar is a by product of refining petrol and oil, etc.
