this site is as good as any for advice etc. but once you know what you have then the RHS website is an excellent horticultural site run by experts in their field. [We do have professional gardeners as members on here too]
As for the id do you remember which seeds you sowed? if we knew what the possibilities were it would be easier to id it. also reminds me of Helenium.
