hello everyone, just wondering if anyone can tell me how and when to prune my botllebrush tree, the flowers have gone and there are loads of new shoots at the ends of each , do i cut these off BELOW the old flowers or just the new tips? thanks

Bottlebrushes don't really need a lot of pruning but can be cut back quite hard if necessary. I don't do much to mine except when a branch spreads too far, then I trace it back and cut the whole thing right out so as not to spoil the shape of the bush. This has worked for something like 15 years
