Wallflower plants

Cornwall, United Kingdom Gb

I have a front border under a window where my wallflowers are beautiful in the Spring - now what should I do with them once they have finished flowering? Chop them back or leave to let the seeds spread? They look a bit straggly at the moment.

Hello Maggiebuse
Cut all of the seed pods off now they are ripe and then dig up the plants and put them in a shallow bucket of water........pop them in a corner of the shed or greenhouse and leave them till late december.
Then replant them where you want them and come march next year you will have another grand display of wallflowers.
