Are you feeding it with an ericaceous feed? Also what size of pot is it in? In general Rhododendrons prefer to be in the ground rather than in a pot.

At this time of year rhododendrons need to be kept well watered and out of the wind (I assume that it is outdoors?). If it is in the same pot as it was last year then the pot is now too small and it should be re-potted into something larger. Rhododendrons in Garden Centres are usually forced to flower early. In 'normal life' it will probably flower a little later than last year.

If you repot it make sure you use ericaceous compost and that the pot has drainage holes.
