Arlene

I have recently bought a Ligularia in a 3 litre pot~ today I noticed with shock that several leaves have been almost totally chewed off.
Can't see the culprit but am thinking slugs?
Anyone got thoughts~ was going to use Provada in case of Vine weevils but all my other plants look okay?

Probably slugs, Arlene. I wouldn't bother with the Provada. Vine weevils nibble the edges of leaves and, in any case, Provada does not affect the adults.

I had a clump totally destroyed over a few years. Such a shame cos the orange flowers are great. Ligularia 'The Rocket' seems immune, but the flowers are more like a yellow Delphinium!
