Is it safe to use lawnsand at the moment given that it has been dry for wee : Grows on You

Is it safe to use lawnsand at the moment given that it has been dry for weeks and is still very cold at night? If ok, should I irrigate the lawn afterwards to wash off the lawnsand from lawn blades?

Best not to use lawnsand until definately going to rain. If u r on a meter you may have to use a lot of water to soak in thoroughly.We did it once and nearly had to have the grass relayed
