I am growing an Mexican tomotoe plant called Tometilla It looks like a dark plum but it is a tomatoe Has any one else grown these at all Thank you Donna

I assume you mean tomatillo. I haven't grown those yet, although I grow the sweeter cape gooseberries. Apparently tomatillos are good in salsas. How productive have you found it compared with a tomato plant?

These plants self seed prolifically from bits of fruit thrown into the compost. Very tasty but lots of seed.
