Madperth, what are the flowers like?

It looks like one of my honeysuckle plants. One way to tell the difference is that clematis cling by their leaves which wrap around the support, whereas honeysuckle wrap their stems around the support.

Thanks Mookins! I'd planted 2 of each, but the other 2 (clematis I guess) didn't survive!

Thanks Madmum,Moon Grower et al! I have two of them & they were pretty dead looking, but I moved them & they seem to be coming back to life! If the'd flower I'd know, but so far, just getting the leaves back!

It's a honeysuckle, Madperth. Clematis leaves are much bigger * darker green. Honeysuckle has small, oval leaves.

Those leaves are quite rounded at the point it meets the stalk, i have some Clematis that have that shaped leaf.

I also have some that have stems that thick !

Well, not clematis leaves so I suppose that means it has to be honeysuckle.
