Rhubarb first year

I bought two Rhubarb plants at the start of the year , was told not to harvest any stalks from plants this year , look how well it's grown. So :-

Should I harvest from plants this year?

If not

Do I just leave them on and let it die off over winter?

Please help

I would take a couple of stalks but no more, it needs the leaves to feed and grow, but more will come if you harvest just a little. Patience :-)))
