Picked my second rhubarb crop of the season today. Had some cut up with a sprinkling of sugar..lovely.
got some rhubarb crumble in the oven cooking just now..mmm. lol
I always throw out the first crop and eat the others, really get lots of fruit of it every year, it’s one of my favourites. looking forward to making jam again this year.

Planted some wild flower seeds in containers and a small hanging pot last week, their starting to break through the surface already.
Planted some (5) Verbena (obbsession eye mix) in a large container in front garden and cut the grass too.

The rhubarb crumble was lovely, thought of eating it all myself but decided to share some with the kids.

Awwww, now. I wish I hadn't read this.

I just adore Rhubard Crumble and...oh, jeez. Now I want some with custard. Boohoo!!!!

I've never grown the stuff, but I do like to eat it.
I remember when I was little my dad used to grow it and I used to sit on the grass with a stick of rhubarb and a bowl of sugar. Ahhhh, those were the days, lol.

Hmph! Bloomin' pigeons ate all my wildflower seeds, I'm a bit cross with them, coz that lot cost me £13!!! Grrrrr! Well done for getting them to germinate!

Rhubarb, hmmmmmm, I'm hungry now! Lol!!
