Identify spawn, toad or snail?
Is anyone able to tell me what this little bundle of spawn / eggs belongs to? I'll destroy them if Snail or slug, but toads are my friend :-)
(uncovered them in my plastic greenhouse, under a wooden panel). today, Sunday 23rd Sept.

toads lay a string of 'pearls' same time as frogs.
definitely snail/slug. there are loads around at the moment the damp weather is certianly an aphrodisiac for them.

Toad spawn is usually found in water in "strings" frogs in water in clumps - yours is snails or slugs.
