i have a scabious??? i think ace of spades just wondering if you can take seed from it or if it is a plant you divide??

I understand some forms like 'Clive Greaves' need to be divided to remain true to type. Division can be done in spring but only when the plant has begun to grow, I divided one of mine this spring and it worked well.
