Just opening. There are lots of buds, too. This time it's a single flowered one.

I know that it is in their nature to hold their heads down, but it doesn't half make taking their photos difficult!

I suppose you wouldn't want to lie in the snow taking it , would you? Lovely coloured flower.

Wow Spritz that is a gorgeous flower, such a beautiful colour. I think I'm going to have to add this to my wish list, I bet it really brightens your winter garden.

Thanks - the next one is pink - I think that might be a single, too. It has so many buds - just a few more days!

SIGH. I suppose I could lie in the snow just for Gee, as she seems to want me to. :-(

Put your thermals on first Spritz, if you must lie down.
Great picture, you have some very pretty hellebores.

They are so lovely aren't they! Am so fond of mine and hoping to add some more to the garden as, weather permitting, I'm going to a special hellebore day at Bosvigo House in Truro on Saturday in aid of Shelterbox. the woodland walk there is full of hellebores, snowdrops, wood anemones, epimediums and erythroniums - finger's crossed for a fine day as forecast!
