No, it's fine orchid bark. I bought it with one flower, but it has a lot of shoots. So i think it's getting more flowers next year. It doesn't need a lot of light. It's not even growing on a windowsill.
I do use potcompost for my Pleiones and so far they are doing fine. This is the second year they bloom.
