Thanks Irish, Sandy and Cat! My garden isn't very large...it's 60 ft wide by l20 long...I've packed in things I love...a pond, a firepit and bunkie shed...and all the plants I could afford! the only replacement for a big budget is DIY... it's been a lot of work and we will be moving next year but I've loved every minute of it and will miss it when I move on to my next garden. It has a large cottonwood and maple, rhus, eleagnus, and Serbian spruce along the north fence and larix, maple, and elm along the east fence, so they shelter the bowl of the garden from the worst weather.

Will you be moving to a different climate?

No... not likely, we will be going west and maybe a little north of here... also possible we may go to British Columbia...just now it's still "wait and see"...
