Stenocarpus sinuatus - Firewheel Tree

Firewheel Tree is a Northeastern Australian native. It blooms in late summer through winter. It eventually become a large tree to 60 feet, however, it is a slow to moderate grower. It is an incredibly beautiful tree which is of course drought-tolerant.

Wow, what a wonderful plant. Looks similar to Grevillea sp. many of which I can grow here in London.

It is a more tender tree than most Grevillea...however, it is in the same family which is the proteaceae.

I know the genera included in the proteaceae family has some interesting trees.
