This keeps getting better, and there are several more stalks starting to open. I use an unglazed ceramic pot for this. During the summer, this likes to be dry and doesn't start to grow until the fall when the rains return.

Thanks. The only UK channels I get are BBC World, BBC Entertainment, and some football ones. Fortunately, there is another channel that has Midsomer Murders.

Thanks. It is the only gladiolus I have - I don't have any of the summer hybrid types because they don't last as long and need staking.
