Ooh yes, one of my favourites Sadie. It's Giant Scabious (Cephalaria gigantia) and the bee's just love it.

I'm pretty sure this is a scabius Sadie. The flowers are usually blue but when I was a child my mum had quite a big bed of yellow ones.
