Ahh lovely to see them again ,have they woken up early Gee ?

I've kept them awake all winter, Amy. I am so worried about the odd weather we have now that it seems safer to keep them warm and well fed indoors through the winter. They have a pen with heated area in my dining room!

Gosh they really are spoilt , I don't blame you though better safe than sorry .... My father gave us one a few years ago it had belonged to his second wife when she died he gave it to us ,it was huge and very old, at the time we were having some plumbing work done by a local plumber ,he had a large old Tortoise of his own so we ask him if he would like to have ours as well as he was more experienced at looking after them than us , we liked the idea that they would both have company :o)

They do like company, Amy. Jubilee was alone for some time when my other tortoise died. A work colleague gave me Josie when her elderly owner died and they didn't have a secure garden. Both being females they get along just fine with no hassle :)

Another awwww :-))

They look a bit larger to me Gee since I first saw them in 2009. It's nice to have the company of your own kind too. A pair is better than a lonely tortoise.

I haven't weighed them yet this year, Dorjac, but they are certainly eating a lot! I have just installed a couple of raised beds in the garden to try and keep them in salad leaves during the summer months :)

Hope you are well and are enjoying some of this lovely sunshine.

Walking well now Gee, thanks for asking. Slowly sorting out the pots, clearing leaves. I am having less things in pots this year. We are already in drought here in Essex. Unless there's a lot of rain there's no point having to do so much watering. The butts will not fill. I hate using mains water in a drought.
