Fingers crossed this will improve - the front only gets sun for a few hours in the afternoon. Ooops looks like I need to get on with some painting instead of planting ...

thankyou, yorkie. The funny thing is, the silver foliage plant at the back (dont know its name) has grown legs and keeps nudging the front door as if it wants to come in. An escapee in my midst, i think
