You've beaten me, Amy! For the first time I saw little flowers on my plant yesterday. It looks rather bedraggled - should I have done anything with it?

I don't do anything at all with mine Gee , did it get very bogged down in the wet when you had your floods ........ it likes to grow in the shade and mine isn't in the shade , in fact it gets a lot of sun where it is most of the day ! ..

Mine is in the shade, under one of those pinky/white willow shrubs. It only gets sun in the very late afternoon or evening. It is sitting in water most of the winter but has been in situ for 3 or more years. I don't remember planting it but I must have! Is it possible to divide them?

Yes Gee , you can divide them in the spring and Autumn , maybe it would be worth dividing it and trying a piece in a different part of the garden .. .. good luck with it ...

I'll wait until it finishes flowering and then give it a go, Amy :)

Fantastic photo Amy. This is one of those plants that demands you get down on your hands and knees for a closer inspection - as your photo clearly shows, it's well worth the effort. :-))
