Autumn Veronicastrum leaves

This is one of my favourite plants. Tall. imposing. Not a thug. Attracts bumble bees, and lights up the border in Autumn. Spreads slowly and transplants well. Also can have strange stem shapes that can make some plants a curiosity.Plus extra width of flower attractive to bumble bees. Spent flowers good for dry use.

Lovely bright autumn colour, I like this very much.

A favourite of mine too - I like the way the leaves whorl around the stems.
