Henry's birthday present

Henry's birthday present

Ian & Carol sent him two toys - so I saved this one for his birthday. He's been rolling it round with his nose and squeaking it too - I think he likes it!

A wonderful big dope. I love him. Happy birthday Henry.
When we had our dogs, they always had their Christmas presents all wrapped up under the tree with everyone elses. They are members of the family after all and very special members at that.

VERY, Toto! :-))

My mum always used to ask how Henry was when I phoned her...not my husband - Henry!

21 Oct, 2009

Bless........

I must admit that I tend to put animals first and humans second so can empathise with your mum.

I have a happy memory of her, which always makes me smile. She was persuaded to come down here to stay - at the age of 97!! and we borrowed all sorts of aids to enable her to see the house and garden...when my husband brought her to the gate, she toddled down on her stick - straight though the garden, straight through the front door - calling 'Where's Henry?' :-))

Wonderful memories.

21 Oct, 2009

Absolutely. :-))

Yes, time flies, he'll be a grumpy teenager before you know it. LOL

22 Oct, 2009

Oh no - I remember them! They are grown up with children of their own, now - two of them are teenagers, as well! If H. gets grumpy, I shall remove myself and hide! LOL.

22 Oct, 2009

You must have started young Barbara, one of our grandsons is just out of the grunting stage and the other one is just entering it, luckily the two granddaughters are both just over twenty and are behaving like (ir) responsible adults Lol.

22 Oct, 2009

I told my son when he announced the news that I was far too young to be a grandmother, Docbob!

He chewed up the green cow, Np - but this one is still in one piece! Amazing for Henry - he gets through tennis balls and rubber bones really quickly.

~I saw a dog the image of Henry today travelling with his owner on the bus ~with what looked like all her worldly possessions in a huge waterproof haversack~however he looked well fed and was obedient so he can't have such a bad life!

27 Oct, 2009

They are such lovely dogs - he hasn't been on a bus. I'm surprised they let dogs on!

27 Oct, 2009

~ have seen several people lately with dogs on our local buses~don't know if this a new policy~~

27 Oct, 2009

As we don't have buses here, I don't know, Arlene!!! lol.

28 Oct, 2009
