Yes, Volunteer, i've just had a look and can see some similar plantings,Grasses, Choysia etc. It's a wonderful acer you have. Mine is in a pot as it's such a windy spot in my front garden, I have to have it in a sheltered spot by the front door where there is no border.Even there, it gets scorched occassionally and I sometimes move it out of the wind.
