Thank you all - I just live in hopes that one year it will have as many flowers as Totos', In the meantime I will just enjoy the ones it does have. It's dead now, boo hoo.

I would then press the flower between books like I have with pansies and a camelia.

It's only now I've seen these cactus photos. ( it was the time my mother died so I've missed a lot ) Pitty the flowers don't last a bit longer. I have one like this but it hasn't flowered this year.

Maybe next year then, Hywel. It is so fleeting, as you know. I find I can't keep up with all the photographs, even looking every day so I just dip in when I can.
