Hi Leigh ,gosh that really does look like wood ,it will look amazing when it has some hair and Creeping Jenny dribble ! I'm thinking the local children will be going the long way home to avoid your tree man Lol .... xx

Well its a fact I won't be walking up your path in the dark!! saying that I think he's brilliant and will be even more dramatic when he's weathered and has green hairy bits sprouting here and there....

yes it is Sandra . im loving drawing the bee its really interesting and a change from the norm . I now know there are 25 types of bumble bee in the uk and the one im drawing isn't the common one . this is a bushy tailed one .

yes I am fran why fancy a bee print ?

12 Oct, 2014

i meant the tree man! lol, though it'd have to be in kit form

12 Oct, 2014

the kit form is junk wire and cement but im not sure that would help much fran lol .

12 Oct, 2014

true, the postage would come to a bit!

did you, or could you do, a basic how-to re wire and cement? people could make their own shapes, I know I'd like to, but not sure how to - need netting that's thin enouvh for me to be able to cut and shape, but strong enough to stay in shape. and how to "plaster" it? once one layer is on, the others can be built up over it, but the first layer?

forget the post what about the postman on his bike not to mention what your letter box looks like lol . well if you look back on my blogs I have explained . you use chicken wire as the netting around stiffer wire and rubbish or old rubble in tree man . this is to make him bottom heavy and stop the cement keep just falling through . rap the item a few times in chicken wire too . use a strong mix of 2 sand to 1 cement and mix it so it can hold the shape of a ball but not so much that its crumbly .
