Watering the garden...or myself !

Created a wigwam out of bamboo canes and garden twine so I could rest the hose and spray my poor dry flower beds….couldn’t help but stand in the cool edge of the spray and before I knew it I was full on standing in front of the water….Its BOILING !!!!!

Sounds ideal. I got the hose out which had been lying in the sun and the water remaining in it was like hot water out of the tap! I hope you are watering the plants either in the shade or when the heat of the day is off or you may scorch them or bring the roots up towards the water (you need to water a lot so it goes down a long way) and then they will burn when the sun gets onto the ground. Playing on the lawn with the water sprinkler sounds lovely, but I expect we will all get a hose pipe ban soon!

Lol, don't blame you. I refilled the dogs paddling pool yesterday and ended up just spraying them with the hose. Think I got just as wet as they did :-). Shadow "no brain" lol wanted me to play ball all day that I ended up hiding all his balls so he started bring me the windfall baby apples instead.
