April showers gave way to sunshine and suddenly colour appeared in the garden.

Cherry Blossom just opening in the warmth

Japanese Quince putting on a bright show

Aubretia carpeting the front of the house

A pot of White Daffodils by the front door also enjoying the sunshine

With the weather set to change I hope you all enjoyed the sunny days this week :o)

How lovely xxx
Those pure white daffs are stunning and the wee forget me nots add colour.....are they self setters ?

Your cherry blossoms way ahead of mine, the plum is fully out and at the mercy of the frosts

Thank you Homebird the Quince were here when we moved in 20 years ago and were established even then, there are two actually either end of the wall, I cut them back every year just to keep them in shape, Just love the Spring :o)

Indeed, alas we have had sleet and snow as well as sunshine for the last two days - there must be a bank holiday looming!! :o)

Very nice to see so many plants in bloom! I think the spring is also my favourite season of the year, too! The explosion of life after a dead winter is wonderful to behold every year!

We had some snow here last night about 9pm. It had stopped before we went to bed though & when we got up this morning there was frost, ice & snow around! Whatever happened to spring this year? So, so different from April last year! But then THAT was an exceptional April as well!

Me too, Homebird, bitter cold again today but at least the hailstones didn't return! Your garden is a delight, Neellan, I love the way the aubretia is spreading itself about.

Thank you Balcony, shame the lovely blooms are being bombarded with hail, sleet and snow it seems to be countrywide not just N. Wales then, hope it warms up again soon for all of us :o)

Homebird no sign of global warming here either - roll on sunshine I say :o)

Thank you Gee :o) still more of the same chilly weather today, no prospect of it improving for bank holiday sadly.

Thank you for liking Daylily :o)
