I had the official "container garden inspector" visit tonight!...

Yes, the official “container garden inspector” in our neighborhood stopped by this evening and gave me a “clean bill of health”..

He also inspected the St. Augustine grass that grows near my patio extension that I built:

Unfortunately, he got a little distracted by the organically grown St. Augustine grass in that area and could not complete the inspection!

That was ONE hungry rabbit!
This has been way too cool this summer. The rabbits have gotten used me sitting on the back porch with my camera and are coming closer and closer into the back yard. I am building their trust a little at a time and cannot wait to actually feed one of them by hand some day.
Time will tell…

Mother Nature rocks!

The rabbits never bother my plants because I put down a really hot mix of minced garlic bulbs and shredded cyan pepper at 4 oz per gallon of water around all of my plants. Squirrels and rabbits only have to get one nose full of that mix and stay away from treated areas! {chuckle}
I have a good crop of hobenero peppers growing in the garden that I want to try in the repellent mixture come harvest time. :-O

I just love the wild critters, but you have to control them organically at times.
